The Crofton Regional Community Center (CRCC)
I am active on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the non-profit Crofton Regional Community Center foundation. The foundation is raising funds for the construction and operation of a community center to be built near the Crofton Public Library.
This foundation and the center were the brainchild of state Senator Janet Greenip (ret.) and others in the community. It will serve the educational and activity needs of residents in the area through a variety of programs and facilities. one very exciting featue that is planned for the center is a skate park. The facility will also have a gymnasium and meeting, class, and activity rooms for all kinds of groups. People from infants and toddlers through senior citizens will benefit from this facility.
Our intention is to build this facility and support its ongoing operations primarily through private funds.
